Preparation of Aavakkai (Mango pickle)

 5 cups Sour Mango Pieces(Medium Sized)
 1 cup Mustard Seed Powder
 1 cup Red Chilli Powder
 1 cup Salt
 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
 1 pinch Fenugreek Seed Powder

Mix the above ingredients and add the mangoes and mix well. Add 3 cups of sesame oil. The oil should come to the top. For the next 3 to 5 days, stir it with a dry laddle at least once a day.
