Sindhi Koki is a traditional Sindhi breakfast. Sindhi Koki is made of whole wheat flatbread flavoured with onions, coriander leaves and spices. It is savoury pastry that’s been cooked on the iron pan (tava).

 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
 2 qts Finely Chopped Small Onion
 2 qts Green Chillies
 1 tsp Dried Pomegranate seeds (Anardana) OR Finely Chopped Raw Mango
 3 tbsp Oil
 Salt to Taste
 1.50 tsp Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves
 1 tsp Rosted Coriander Seeds (Optional)
 1.50 tsp Finely Chopped Mint Leaves (Optional)
 1 cup Water (Approx)

Roast Dried Pomegranate seeds (Anardana) slightly and powder it.

Add salt to whole wheat flour, mix well, add oil to make dough crumbly.

Add all the above ingredients, mix well and knead firm dough by adding water accordingly.

Divide the dough in 5-6 equal parts. Roll out in the form of a paratha (not very thick or very thin) and make few small cuts.

Roast on both sides adding little ghee on the edges till the texture is flaky or crispy like biscuit, Sindhi Koki is ready.

If you want you can roast for some more time to make it more crispy

Serve it either with yogurt or Pickle. You can also have Sindhi Koki with tea or milk for breakfast.
